Quick Covid-19 Kentucky Update ...

We are up to 49 cases - including the wife of the mayor of Louisville (Greg Fischer), Dr. Alexandra Gerassimides.  Two others at a March 7th event with them tested positive, and Lexington's former mayor (whom I adore), Jim Gray, was also at the event, and is self-quarantining as a result. No word on his test results yet.

One of the 2 new cases is in Lexington/Fayette County, and after this news, as of 30 minutes ago, the schools finally said, "shut it all down, work from home."

My husband is now finally working from home (thank you, God, and I mean that, it was about dang time).

PS update - amending that - he still has to go in to check on payroll/benefits computers and fix laptops he can't remote into, but this is a step closer.

Louisville/Jefferson County's been home-schooling for 2 weeks, mind you.

As I said earlier, FCPS had no plan in site for that, at least on that scale, and still doesn't though the second-largest school district in the state.

That's because we're ass-backwards, here lol.
