Go, Universal Pictures!

As you may have heard, Universal Pictures announced they would start streaming brand new movies to certain streaming companies to keep people out of theaters, last week.

They launched it last Friday, so you can see "Invisible Man," "The Hunt," and "Emma" from home as we speak,  if you have Amazon Prime, AppleTV, Xfinity, Vudu, Google Play, Verizon, FandangoNow, and Microsoft Movies - with more movies added soon.

Here's an easy link to join "Movies Anywhere," which tells you which services are streaming them - both current Universal Pictures "in-theater" movies and Universal movies past.

PS - You can thank my brother-in-law (Mark's little brother) for that - he's the senior executive accountant for Universal Pictures  - (his official title is Senior Director, Financial Planning and Analysis) ;)

The price is $19.99, but before you balk, consider it's cheaper than taking entire families to the movies and safer :)
