Well, I know many people had a much worse 2020 than we did, but it still wasn't exactly a party for us - and I was hoping this year would go quietly, and end with a whimper rather than a bang - but we just knew that 2020 had to end with some drama (it did for me at least), right?
However, in the end, not only did my bank fully refund me for the money-transfer fraud from my account (due to their admitted error, an old debit card they'd accidentally left open when sending me a new one) - but my stimulus check came, so I'm as happy as can be!
(And yes, they are monitoring it for further activity, but closing the old debit card they accidently left open should do it.)
