What the Democratic Party Needs: An Actual Party. A BIG One!

 

... and invite EVERYONE! 😊

I had an idea, the other day, so I wrote the Democratic Party HQ and the Obamas about it today. I've never written either before.

Here is the letter:

Dear (Dem Party HQ, Barack and Michelle Obama):

Hi - with all of the excitement and joy around the Obama Center opening - and the unfortunate partisan feel of America's 250th birthday -  I was thinking that what our party really needs is an actual party - a big one - and the 200th anniversary of the Democratic Party is coming up in 2028.

Not only will it help us get our joy and momentum back, but those who are not Democrats can see our joy AND wish they were!

We have all the comedians, musicians, and entertainers anyway, I'm sure they'd come - it would be a blast!

(Of course, with heightened security.)

Don't know if it's in the funding, but you could charge admission? (Not too much because, ya know, we're Democrats lol).

In fact, having a Democrat Day every year might do the trick?
