Superintendent Liggins Was Put on Leave Due to "Info Received This Week" Says The School Board

You can see the LHL article with the school board's letter regarding the "info received this week"  HERE.

It is unclear from the article if the "info" simply means the  aforementioned resignation email to the school board from Dr. Liggins (that he claimed wasn't a resignation) - or the information received this week is something else not yet publicly reported.

Many have speculated Dr. Liggins sent that email because he knew something worse was about to come out.

Others said that it's because he would be tenured 5 years in June - however, with the latter, the policy at Fayette County is typically 4 years and 1 day.

As mentioned previously, I am privy to information that has not been publicly reported that I can't share (other than the heated parking space thing).

What I CAN tell you is that apparently, there IS something new even people at Central Office didn't know yet -  but I don't know what it is.

All we know is that someone in leadership let it slip that new accusation has been made - and it's bad - really, really bad.

Apparently, so bad that there is practically an unspoken gag order on it until it's fully investigated.
