As mentioned in this morning's post, someone in leadership gave us a heads up that there were, in fact, new allegations this week that had not been previously publicly reported - and Dr. Liggins personal attorney just confirmed this HERE.
Also as mentioned, we have no idea what these allegations are, we were only told that they are "bad - really, really bad."
Thus, the people speculating Liggins sent that resignation email (that he later claimed wasn't) because he knew something was about come out publicly, might actually be correct?
(Because the other speculation that his 5-year-tenure would be applied in June as his rationale doesn't really apply since at FCPS, tenure is typically defined by 4 years and 1 day.)
We shall see.
