Okay, so I watched the end.
Great horror watch - just a so-so watch as far as story and filmmaking.
Ending was unexpected, so they get points for that - if I can guess how something ends/whodunnit in the first 10 minutes - which I usually can, being a former aspiring screenwriter - I lose interest, and I didn't.
But it's just a few things wrong with the story?
Because questions #2, 3, and 6 from my below post are still unanswered - and it really bothers me when a show leaves loose ends.
There's red herrings and then there's "Wait, what about _____?"
Perhaps because there are because there are better that don't. In fact, the Duffer brothers can do better as far as answering questions by the end.
Sometimes it takes a couple of seasons - maybe they if there's a second season they will?
The good news is, as mentioned in the post below, I was waiting for the Duffer brothers to place their own signature mark on filmmaking, as thus far, they were paying homage to other filmmakers - and I think they did it.
In the wedding scene as the bridge enters - the camera is upside down.
Not only is this a wink to their first big collaboration, the "upside down" world from Stranger Things, they like to show how things look from a different or "flipped" perspective, from "upside down" 🙂
