She was part of a Minnesota protest during church services, protesting ICE removing people from church services.
As stupid as that idea was - protesting ICE removing people from church by interrupting the church service yourselves (they should've known that would get twisted) - what happened next is worse.
Kristi Noem posted her originally picture on the DHS site - then the White House took her arrest photo and digitally altered it and Karoline Leavitt (WH press secretary) posted it to X ....
... adding the tagline ...
As you can see between the original DHS photo and the WH photo, there's a drastic difference - darkening her skin and making her look anguished and crying like a Karen, instead of calm and resolute.
Also, she isn't far left - she's a civil rights attorney and ordained pastor herself.
This isn't just racism, sexism, and fabricating propaganda - it's pure evil.
When the NYT, The Guardian, and several other press confirmed the photo had been manipulated, they reached out to Karoline Leavitt, who referred them to Kaelan Dorr, the WH Deputy Communications Director, who responded:
“YET AGAIN to the people who feel the need to reflexively defend perpetrators of heinous crimes in our country I share with you this message: Enforcement of the law will continue. The memes will continue. Thank you for your attention to this matter,”
Okay, Kaelan - if interrupting church services to protest is a heinous crime, what is ICE snatching undocumented immigrants out of church pews?
